The Philadelphia Church - Port Austin
Welcome
to the homepage of The Philadelphia
Church - Port Austin, geographically located at the tip of Michigan's
thumb, scripturally located as pillars in the temple of God in heavenly
Jerusalem. For the fellowship here at Port Austin is committed to delivering
Jesus' words of patient endurance to all the world as a witness to all nations,
these words being that all who endure to the end shall be saved (Matt 24:13).
They will be saved for they will be born of Spirit, born empowered by the Holy
Spirit halfway through seven endtime years of tribulation.
The
Port Austin fellowship is associated with The
Philadelphia Church, and has incorporated its Bylaws and Statement of
Beliefs into the fellowship's founding documents. The Port Austin fellowship
began in 2004, then assembling together in homes of disciples. But beginning
late summer 2006, the fellowship has a more permanent home on the former
airbase and is better able to schedule services. Therefore, an invitation is
extended to all Philadelphians to
join with the small fellowship in Port Austin to do the greatest work the world
has ever seen, a work based upon the faith that causes uncircumcised and
circumcised alike to keep the precepts of the law (Rom 2:26). A work not of
might, but of faith.
Sabbath
Services are at 1:30 p.m. [Saturday]. A potluck meal is usually scheduled for
after services (so as not to offend those whose faith does not permit them to
eat meat, please bring a vegetarian covered dish if you choose to bring a
dish). If possible, call or e-mail ahead when you plan to attend--services are
open to everyone, but due to the small size of the fellowship, advance notice
will aid accommodation.
